How does your water use compare?

See your own recent daily water usage, get a plain-language read of it, and compare against an anonymous community average built from numbers neighbors choose to share. Your utility login never leaves your browser. This site never asks for your password.

Set it up (about 1 minute)

  1. Drag this button to your bookmarks bar:   💧 Water Usage
(or right-click it → “Bookmark link”. On mobile this is tricky, so a laptop is easiest.)
  2. Log in to the official portal: waterbilling.arlingtontx.gov and open your account.
  3. On that page, click the 💧 Water Usage bookmark. It reads your usage and brings you right back here, showing your graph and a plain-language read of it.
  4. Review your graph, then add your numbers to the community average if you like. That’s it.

What is and isn’t collected

Daily usage numbers (gallons/day)✓
First 3 digits of your ZIP (e.g. 760)✓

Your utility username or password✕ never
Name, full address, account #, or meter ID✕ never
Your exact location✕ never

The tool runs in your browser using your already-logged-in session, the same way the portal’s own page reads your data. If you click Contribute, your numbers go into the community average and your daily graph is published in the "Browse neighbors' graphs" section, labeled only by the first 3 ZIP digits (e.g. 760xx), with no name, address, or account. A daily graph can hint at patterns like time away, so only contribute if you are comfortable sharing that much.
